Poll Findings on Morawiecki’s Potential Party
In a survey of 1,042 adult Poles conducted by Pollster for “SE,” a hypothetical party formed by Mateusz Morawiecki would fail to attract significant support. With only 2.05 percent of the vote, the group would fall short of the 3 percent threshold required to receive state subsidies.
Current Standing of Major Political Forces
Koalicja Obywatelska remains the leader with 32.45 percent, though this reflects a 1.56 percentage point drop compared to the June 19-21 survey. Law and Justice (PiS) follows with 24.97 percent, a decline of 1.2 percentage points.
Growth Trends Within the Konfederacja Electorate
Konfederacja holds third place with 12.75 percent of the vote. Within this bloc, the subset identifying as Konfederacja Korony Polskiej voters grew to 8.97 percent, an increase of 1.31 percentage points from the previous study.
Performance of Smaller Parties
Support for the Left stands at 7.79 percent, a slight decrease of 0.03 percentage points. The Razem party recorded 4.45 percent, while the Polish People’s Party (PSL) reached 3.79 percent. Polska 2050 registered 1.92 percent, and 0.86 percent of respondents chose “other party.”
Projections on Government Stability
A separate IBRiS poll for Wirtualna Polska shows Koalicja Obywatelska dropping 0.5 percentage points to 29.5 percent, while support for Grzegorz Braun’s faction rose by 0.5 percentage points to 10.1 percent. Calculations regarding Sejm seats suggest that in such a configuration, Koalicja Obywatelska and the Left would be unable to form a governing coalition, as seat distribution would heavily fragment across other factions.
