A Colombian national was apprehended following a security breach at the War Studies Academy in Warsaw. According to the Military Gendarmerie, the individual used a stone to break a window and enter one of the campus buildings, where he was immediately intercepted by security personnel.
Official Details and Legal Proceedings
Military Gendarmerie spokesperson Lt. Col. Dariusz Rozkosz confirmed the event via social media, stating that the suspect, who appeared to be under the influence of narcotics, was on public-access academy grounds when he caused the damage. The intruder was handed over to police custody following his detention by security staff.
The incident occurred on Friday at approximately 5:20 AM at the academy site located on Aleja gen. A. Chruściela “Montera” 103. Military authorities and the police are currently investigating the matter under Article 288, paragraph 1 of the Penal Code, which concerns the destruction of property.
