Discovery of the body
On Friday, July 3, emergency services were called to a residence in Bork贸w, approximately 15 kilometers from Kielce. Upon arrival, medical personnel confirmed the death of a 64-year-old woman.
Investigation into the death
Prosecutors and police investigators are currently reconstructing the events leading up to the tragedy. According to police spokesperson Ma艂gorzata Perkowska-Kiepas, initial findings suggest the involvement of another person in the woman’s death.
Large-scale search for the husband
Authorities have identified the victim’s 65-year-old husband as a person of interest who may have had contact with her shortly before she died. Over 100 officers, supported by a police helicopter, are searching both Kielce and the surrounding forest complex.

Police confirmed that there had been no previous interventions at the couple鈥檚 address, and no domestic violence procedures, such as a Blue Card, had been implemented.
Description of the suspect
The suspect is 175 centimeters tall, with a stout build and short, gray hair. He was last seen wearing a brown V-neck sweater and brown trousers with cuffs, and he is reportedly walking without shoes or socks. He may also have a swollen right hand.

Witnesses or those with dashcam footage are urged to contact emergency number 112 or a special police line at 789 759 706. Investigators have currently withheld the suspect’s photograph, citing the needs of the ongoing investigation and prosecutorial guidance.
