Another PiS MP Defies Kaczyński and Joins Rozwój Plus

PiS spokesperson Rafał Bochenek announced that the party’s political committee approved a list of 44 individuals who failed to submit required association declarations on time.

PiS Political Committee Approves List of 44 Members

PiS spokesperson Rafał Bochenek announced on Tuesday, July 28, that the PiS Political Committee approved a list of individuals who failed to submit the proper statement regarding non-membership in associations within the required deadline. He stated that there are 44 such individuals, not only linked to Mateusz Morawiecki’s Rozwój Plus association, but also those who submitted declarations on the wrong form.

Bochenek reported that following the Political Committee’s approval, the matter was forwarded in accordance with the party statute to the party disciplinary spokesperson, who will handle each case individually while fulfilling formal and legal procedures.

Piotr Uściński Joins Rozwój Plus

PiS MP Piotr Uściński announced on the X platform that he is joining Mateusz Morawiecki’s Rozwój Plus association. He noted in his post that he wants Poland to return to the path of development stimulated by the United Right government of Mateusz Morawiecki and concluded with “Hail Great Poland.”

Uściński served as the Secretary of State in the Ministry of Development and Technology in Mateusz Morawiecki’s government from 2021 to 2023.

Mateusz Morawiecki Comments on Ongoing Talks and Expulsion

The former prime minister stated that he perceives the post-Political Committee statement as an attempt to drag out a bad TV series, adding that he assumes they have been removed, recalling Friday’s words by PiS leader Jarosław Kaczyński.

During a Tuesday meeting in Piaski, when asked about ongoing talks with PiS parliamentarians regarding joining the Rozwój Plus association, Morawiecki admitted that discussions are underway and noted that not all of them are being led by him.
