Discovery of the Bodies in Puławy
The tragic discovery took place on Friday, July 24, in an apartment building in Puławy. Police were called by a person who could not get in touch with an immediate family member. Firefighters were dispatched to the scene and forcefully opened the door to the apartment.
Police Investigation and Initial Findings
Inside the apartment, police discovered the bodies of a married couple: a 29-year-old woman and a 28-year-old man, according to senior commissioner Ewa Rejn-Kozak from the Puławy County Police Headquarters. Procedural actions are currently being carried out at the scene with the participation of experts under the supervision of a prosecutor from the District Prosecutor’s Office in Puławy.

Investigators will clarify the detailed causes and circumstances of the incident. However, preliminary findings suggest that one of the individuals committed a homicide and then took their own life.
