The journalist claims that Jarosław Kaczyński has already discussed the matter with Bogucki, who agreed to the proposal, and the idea was reportedly accepted by President Karol Nawrocki. PiS spokesman Rafał Bochenek responded to these reports on the platform X, encouraging people to rely on facts rather than fantasy stories and whispers from malicious individuals. He emphasized that the candidate for prime minister remains Prof. Przemysław Czarnek, who will take the office if the party wins the upcoming elections, adding that the rumored scenario is not being considered at all.

Bochenek’s denial contrasts with findings published by “Dziennik Gazeta Prawna,” which reported that leadership is seriously considering replacing the prime minister candidate as early as autumn. Sources indicate that Czarnek failed to stop the outflow of PiS voters toward Confederation and Confederation of the Polish Crown, and allegedly harmed the party’s image with statements regarding the suspension of military aid to Ukraine.
