Bosak to PiS: Cut the Internal Conflict Like Men

Deputy Speaker of the Sejm Krzysztof Bosak has urged Law and Justice (PiS) leadership to resolve their internal divisions decisively, noting that the stalemate risks delegitimizing the right-wing opposition.

Bosak Sees Opportunity in PiS Turmoil

Krzysztof Bosak told the Polish Press Agency that while Konfederacja is ready to challenge any political configuration, it remains too early to predict a total collapse of PiS. He noted that such a fracture could eventually open a path for Konfederacja to become the primary force on the right.

In a post on X, Bosak criticized the ongoing spectacle, stating it causes embarrassment and ridicules the concept of the right-wing in the eyes of younger voters. He advised PiS leaders to settle their dispute with the same efficiency Konfederacja showed when parting ways with Grzegorz Braun.

Conflict Over Party Associations

The internal crisis in PiS stems from a mid-July resolution requiring members to exit associations involved in political activity, such as Mateusz Morawiecki’s “Rozwój Plus” and Jacek Sasin’s “Po pierwsze Polska.” While Sasin complied, Morawiecki has insisted on maintaining his organization to work toward an “ambitious Poland.”

Despite a meeting between Jarosław Kaczyński and Morawiecki, the issue remains unresolved. Kaczyński has urged party members to focus on the real enemy, as roughly 130 parliamentarians have already declared their withdrawal from such associations.

Morawiecki Defends His Position

Former Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki reaffirmed his membership in PiS this Tuesday, stating that he intends to remain within the “patriotic camp.” He emphasized that diverse viewpoints should not be confused with civil war and called for an ability to distinguish healthy competition from destructive infighting.
