A tragic explosion occurred Sunday morning in a building located in Kopydłowo Nowe, within the Konin County of the Greater Poland Voivodeship. One individual remains trapped under the debris following the blast.

Casualties and Current Status

Junior Brigadier Sebastian Andrzejewski of the Konin Municipal Fire Brigade confirmed that rescue efforts are ongoing. While one person managed to escape the structure with burns, a second individual is trapped; rescuers have established verbal contact with the victim.

Emergency Response Teams

Firefighters from Konin and local Volunteer Fire Brigades are currently on-site. Specialized search and rescue units from Poznań and Łódź are en route to the scene to assist in the operation.
