Cyclist Killed in Collision with Coach in Wola

A male cyclist died at the scene following a collision with a coach at the intersection of Prymasa Tysiąclecia Avenue and Kasprzaka Street in Warsaw’s Wola district on Tuesday evening.

At 19:27, a fatal accident involving a coach and a cyclist occurred at the intersection of Prymasa Tysiąclecia Avenue and Kasprzaka Street. The cyclist, estimated to be approximately 35 years old, reportedly entered the bicycle crossing while the traffic light was red.

As the coach driver was executing a right turn toward Ochota, the vehicle struck and ran over the man. Emergency services declared the cyclist deceased at the scene.

Traffic heading toward Ochota along Prymasa Tysiąclecia Avenue is being diverted via the overpass. The city transit authority has reported significant service interruptions affecting bus lines 136, 167, 178, 184, 186, 414, and 523.

Stops PKP Wola (Kasprzaka) 05 and PKP Wola (Wolska) 05 have been temporarily suspended. Bus line 178 has been rerouted through Wolska, Połczyńska, Dźwigowa, Globusowa, and Chrobrego streets to circumvent the area.
