Drugs in Car, Weapons at Home: 35-Year-Old Faces Charges

Warsaw police arrested a 35-year-old man in Wilanów after discovering amphetamines in his vehicle and further narcotics, ammunition, and unauthorized weapons inside his residence and cellar.

The Traffic Stop

Officers from the Warsaw Wilanów Police Station initiated a routine patrol near Wolicka Street. Their attention was drawn to a man sitting in a parked Toyota, whose nervous reaction to the police presence prompted a formal inspection.

During the identity verification process, the individual remained visibly agitated. A subsequent search of the vehicle revealed a small bag of white powder in the glove compartment, which tested positive for amphetamine.

Evidence Seized from Residence

Following the arrest, investigators conducted a search of the suspect’s home and cellar. The operation uncovered additional quantities of amphetamine, various calibers of ammunition, a gas pistol, and several items resembling firearms.

All seized materials were documented, examined, and formally integrated into the criminal evidence file by the responding officers.

Legal Status and Charges

The evidence was submitted to the Warsaw Mokotów District Prosecutor’s Office. The suspect faces charges of possessing psychotropic substances and unauthorized possession of ammunition and gas weaponry, crimes punishable by up to eight years in prison.

The prosecutor did not approve a motion for pre-trial detention, and the suspect was released following procedural formalities. The investigation remains under the supervision of the Warsaw Mokotów District Prosecutor’s Office.
