Subcarpathian police reported that officers stopped a 38-year-old man driving under the influence in Jasło on Saturday, June 13, finding his intoxicated wife and their young child in the vehicle.

Dangerous Driving and Intoxication
On Saturday evening, shortly after 9:00 PM, police were alerted by a witness who observed an Opel swerving across the entire width of the road in Jasło. When officers intercepted the vehicle, they discovered the 38-year-old driver had a blood alcohol level of nearly 2.0 per mille and lacked a valid driver’s license.
Alcohol was also found on the back seat of the car. The driver’s 32-year-old wife, who was traveling with their five-year-old son, tested positive for alcohol with a level of nearly 1.6 per mille.
Legal Consequences for Negligent Parents
The driver will face charges for operating a vehicle without a license while under the influence. Both parents could face charges under Article 160 of the Penal Code for endangering the life or health of their child, and the case has been referred to the family court.

Subcarpathian police praised the witness for reporting the dangerous behavior, emphasizing that every intoxicated driver poses a lethal threat. Authorities urge citizens to call 112, noting that a single report can save lives.
