Early ZUS Pension and Disability Benefit Payments for July and August: Who Is Eligible?

The Social Insurance Institution (ZUS) announces early July and August pension and disability benefit payments for beneficiaries whose scheduled payment dates fall on weekends or holidays.

Early Payments for August and July Beneficiaries

Pensioners and disability beneficiaries whose scheduled payment date falls on August 1 and Saturday, August 15, will receive their money in advance. ZUS will transfer pensions and disability benefits to the post office on July 28 and to bank accounts on July 30. Individuals with a payment date of August 15 will receive their benefits on August 10 and August 12, respectively. Pensioners and disability beneficiaries whose scheduled payment date falls on August 1 will receive their pensions and disability benefits still in July. Money will also be received earlier by individuals whose scheduled payment date falls on Saturday, August 15.

When Are ZUS Benefits Paid Early?

The Social Insurance Institution pays pension and disability benefits on several specific dates: the 1st, 6th, 10th, 15th, 20th, and 25th of the month. If a payment date falls on a non-working day or a Saturday, the benefit is paid earlier. Therefore, individuals who are scheduled to receive their payment on August 1 will receive their money in advance as usual. Pensions and disability benefits delivered by postal workers will reach post offices on July 28, while benefits transferred to bank accounts will reach banks on July 30.

Senior Citizens with August 15 Payment Dates

Seniors whose pension or disability benefit payment date falls on August 15 will also receive their benefits earlier. They will likewise receive their money in advance. On August 10, ZUS will transfer funds to the post office and process bank account transfers on August 12.

How to Have ZUS Transfer Your Pension to a Bank Account

ZUS encourages seniors who still receive their benefits via the post office to consider choosing the secure method of having their pensions or disability benefits transferred directly. When receiving payments via a bank account, there is no need to wait for a postal worker to knock on the door. You must submit an application for benefit payment to a bank account using the EZP form, which can be downloaded from www.zus.pl. The application form is also available at the information point in the customer service hall of every ZUS organizational unit.
