Free Comprehensive Rehabilitation Program for Joint and Spine Pain Launches in Kraków

From August 1 to December 31, 2026, the City of Kraków is launching a free, intensive four-week rehabilitation program to help residents combat joint and spine disorders.

Free Rehabilitation for Residents

Back pain, progressive joint stiffness, and long recovery processes after surgeries are challenges affecting many people. Residents of Kraków do not have to face these ailments alone, as the city launches a free and comprehensive rehabilitation program aimed at restoring mobility, reducing pain, and significantly improving daily functioning.

Scope of the Program

The “Prevention and Rehabilitation Program for Musculoskeletal Dysfunctions for Residents of the Municipality of Kraków” was adopted by the Kraków City Council to address the needs of adults with diagnosed musculoskeletal disorders. This includes individuals suffering from overload diseases, degenerative changes, or those recovering from surgeries and amputations.

Intensive Care Cycle

Participants will receive comprehensive care from specialists at the Stefan Żeromski Specialist Hospital SPZOZ. The program includes physiotherapy consultations, tailored treatments, and supervised exercises. The entire cycle lasts four weeks, featuring four sessions per week with at least two hours of care daily, totaling a minimum of 32 hours of professional rehabilitation alongside health education.

Registration and Schedule

Registration for the program is officially open with a limited number of spots available. The program runs from August 1 to December 31, 2026, with the first patient sessions starting on August 3, 2026. Interested individuals should contact registration by phone from Monday through Friday between 8:00 AM and 2:00 PM.
