Two people were hospitalized following a collision between a Toyota and a Mazda at the intersection of Piłsudskiego, Sosnowej, and Szkolnej streets in Marki.

On Saturday, August 1, around 10:00 PM, a Toyota and a Mazda collided at the intersection located in Wołomin County. Following the impact, the Toyota veered off the road and struck a nearby parcel locker, causing partial damage to it, while two individuals were transported to the hospital.

Emergency Services Response

Emergency medical teams, the fire department, and the police were dispatched to the scene. Firefighters secured the wrecked vehicles and the accident site, while paramedics attended to the participants.

After initial examinations, two people—a passenger from the Mazda and a passenger from the Toyota—were transported to the hospital.

Preliminary Police Findings

Preliminary findings indicate that the driver of the Toyota failed to obey a red traffic signal for their direction of travel. The vehicle entered the intersection, collided with the Mazda, and then struck the parcel locker near the intersection, partially damaging it.
