Legionowo police apprehended a 14-year-old streaming dangerous traffic violations on an e-scooter from a railway parking garage, handing the case over to the family court.

Online Monitoring Leads to Police Action

Legionovsk police officers monitoring the internet for safety discovered a profile featuring videos of young e-scooter users committing flagrant traffic violations. Officers decided to act immediately after spotting the suspect conducting a live broadcast.

Reckless Riding Documented on Video

A motorized patrol in the Legionowo County noticed social media videos documenting dangerous behaviors, including ignoring traffic signals, overtaking vehicles directly on pedestrian crossings, and riding against the flow of traffic.

Live Broadcast Interrupted at Railway Parking

Analyzing the surroundings in the footage, officers pinpointed the authors’ location. In early July, traffic police officers went to the top level of the PKP Legionowo multi-level parking lot on Kościuszki Street, where they interrupted the dangerous stunt during a live stream.

Officers identified two 14-year-old residents of the Wieliszew commune at the scene, both of whom held bicycle cards obligating them to know and obey traffic regulations.

Legal Consequences and Court Referral

One of the teenagers confessed to publishing the recordings and committing the offenses. Legal guardians were called to the scene to take charge of the minors, and the intervention documentation was forwarded to the Family and Juvenile Court to assess demoralization and decide on further legal steps.

Authorities remind the public that an e-scooter is a vehicle and its user is a full participant in road traffic.
