At 8:16 AM, firefighters from the Pruszków district received a report about a fire in a single-family residential building with a commercial section on Ogrodowa Street in Piastów. Even before emergency services arrived, thick black smoke was visible over the surrounding area.

Spreading Flames and Photovoltaic Installation

Upon the arrival of the first fire units, it became apparent that the fire had already spread significantly. The blaze affected a residential building with a commercial section measuring approximately 20 by 15 meters and about 5 meters in height. One of the building’s roofs featured photovoltaic panels, which were also engulfed by the flames and burned down.

Dynamic Situation and Ongoing Firefighting Operations

The situation at the scene remains dynamic, with the fire not yet localized as firefighters conduct intensive extinguishing operations. Large quantities of black smoke continue to billow over the incident site, visible from a distance. Currently, 11 fire brigades involving approximately 40 firefighters are working at the scene, with additional forces and resources being deployed to contain the fire and prevent its further spread.

Three people in nearby buildings evacuated preemptively before the arrival of services due to the developing fire and heavy smoke. There are currently no reports of casualties. Due to the firefighting operation, nearby streets have been closed to traffic, and drivers must expect disruptions and avoid the area.
