Marta Nawrocka’s Foundation Raises 460,000 PLN and Secures Contract with PiS-Led Regional Government

The “Close to Human Affairs” Foundation, established by First Lady Marta Nawrocka, has secured 460,000 PLN in donations and signed a promotional contract with the PiS-governed Podkarpackie Voivodeship.

Foundation Structure and Leadership

The “First Lady – Close to Human Affairs” Foundation was formally registered in February. The organization is led by 43-year-old educator Tomasz Krzemiński. The board includes Marta Nawrocka’s 23-year-old son, Daniel Nawrocki, the First Lady’s photographer, Alicja Stefaniuk, and educator Natalia Suchorska.

While Marta Nawrocka is not in the foundation’s leadership, she serves as its founder with an initial contribution of 2,000 PLN. Nawrocka has described the foundation as a five-year mission aimed at building bridges, seeking consensus, and fostering cooperation.

Ongoing Social Initiatives

The foundation has launched four primary projects to date. “Captain Poland” is an interactive touring show that teaches children about national symbols, Poland’s early rulers, and legendary figures. Another initiative, “HEJT OFF – Words Have Power!”, provides workshops to help children develop empathy, assertiveness, and healthy responses to online hate.

Additional projects include “Breath for Heroines,” which aims to organize therapeutic trips for caregivers of children with disabilities, and “Poland is Likeable,” which provides educational travel opportunities for children living in orphanages and foster care homes.

Contract with the Podkarpackie Voivodeship

The foundation has partnered with the Podkarpackie Voivodeship, led by Marshal Władysław Ortyl of the PiS party. The Marshal’s Office signed a 30,000 PLN gross contract with the foundation to conduct promotional activities for the “Captain Poland” events held across four health resort towns between May and June.

Financial Transparency and Future Plans

The foundation reports that its operations are primarily financed through donations from individuals and private entities. According to official disclosures, the foundation received 460,052.02 PLN in donations as of July 15, 2026.

Management stated that they are currently planning to expand their operations by pursuing further collaborations with various public institutions, while adhering to principles of transparency regarding their funding sources.
