Mokotów Police Seize 131kg of Narcotics Worth 6.7 Million PLN

Warsaw detectives have dismantled a major drug operation, seizing 131 kilograms of narcotics with a street value of 6.7 million PLN and arresting a 27-year-old suspect now facing 12 years in prison.

Operation and Surveillance

The investigation by Warsaw’s Second District Police followed weeks of operational intelligence work. Detectives identified a Konstancin-Jeziorna resident suspected of storing and distributing significant quantities of psychotropic substances across Warsaw.

Police monitored the suspect and analyzed surveillance footage, eventually pinpointing a Mokotów apartment used as a distribution hub. Investigators confirmed the suspect frequently transported large volumes of illegal substances to this location.

Arrest and Evidence Seizure

The operation concluded when police intercepted the suspect in an underground garage as he exited the building. Officers found him in possession of vacuum-sealed bags of marijuana and keys to the apartment.

A subsequent search of the premises uncovered dozens of sealed drug bags, MDMA tablets, and various psychotropic substances. Police also seized cash and equipment used for preparing narcotics for street-level distribution.

Charges and Legal Proceedings

Total seizures included over 126 kg of marijuana, 3 kg of mefedrone, and 2 kg of MDMA, alongside over 16,000 PLN in cash held against future fines. The 27-year-old suspect has been charged with trafficking significant quantities of illegal drugs.

The Mokotów District Court has ordered the suspect held in custody for three months. If convicted, he faces up to 12 years of imprisonment.
