On Wednesday, July 29, Mateusz Morawiecki announced the formation of a new parliamentary club. The former prime minister stated that 40 MPs and senators decided to establish the club together, which will serve as a platform for the activities of the “Rozwój Plus” association.

Kaczyński Condemns the Split

PiS leader Jarosław Kaczyński commented on the events, stating that what was to be expected had happened. He noted that he made attempts at an agreement until the end, but Morawiecki clearly had his own political plan based on a split within PiS, executed at the most inappropriate moment for Poland and serving those who harm the homeland.

PiS Political Committee Approves List of Disqualified Members

PiS Spokesperson Rafał Bochenek informed on Tuesday that the PiS Political Committee approved a list of individuals who failed to submit the proper declaration regarding non-affiliation with associations within the required deadline. He stated that this affects 44 people, including those linked to Morawiecki’s Rozwój Plus association as well as those who submitted their declarations on the wrong form.
