MSPO 2026 Grows with Industry: Record Edition in the New Targi Kielce Hall

The 34th International Defence Industry Exhibition, scheduled for September 8 to 11, 2026, will feature nearly 1,000 exhibitors in a brand-new exhibition hall in Kielce.

Record Scale and New Infrastructure

Nearly one thousand exhibitors from 35 countries, the largest defense sector concerns, over 80 companies from Canada, and premiere solutions for armed forces and security—this is how the 34th International Defence Industry Exhibition is shaping up. From September 8 to 11, 2026, representatives of armed forces, public administration, industry, research centers, and companies from all over the world will gather at Targi Kielce.

This year’s edition will also mark a milestone in the development of the center itself. For the first time, the exhibition will encompass a new exhibition hall, which will increase exhibition space and allow for the presentation of even more companies and large-scale systems.

The infrastructure development of Targi Kielce is no coincidence. It is a response to the dynamically growing interest in participating in one of the most important defense industry events in Europe. Just a few years ago, organizers faced the challenge of finding space for everyone interested. Today, the new hall allows not only for an increase in the number of exhibitors, but also for a better presentation of large-scale equipment, advanced systems, and solutions requiring larger exhibition space.

Strong Representation of Canada and Global Players

This year’s Lead Country is Canada, whose presence will be one of the strongest in the exhibition’s history. Over 80 Canadian enterprises representing almost all segments of the defense industry—from vehicle and land system manufacturers to aviation technologies, electronics, communication systems, and security solutions—will come to Kielce. The companies’ participation will be accompanied by an official government delegation featuring Canada’s Minister of National Defence and Minister of International Trade, emphasizing the importance of economic and industrial cooperation between the two countries.

The United States, Germany, Great Britain, Italy, South Korea, France, Norway, the Czech Republic, Finland, and many other nations will also be strongly represented. Global concerns such as Lockheed Martin, RTX, Boeing, KNDS, Rheinmetall, Leonardo, Airbus, Saab, MBDA, and Hanwha Aerospace, as well as hundreds of enterprises specializing in the production of components, electronics, unmanned systems, cybersecurity, optoelectronics, and space technologies, will be present in Kielce.

The Strategic Partner of the event remains Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa, which has held this role for a decade and has been associated with the International Defence Industry Exhibition since its very first editions. During this year’s exhibition, the Group will present, among other things, a prototype of a heavy infantry fighting vehicle, solutions related to the production of 155 mm artillery ammunition, progress in missile programs, and projects developed in cooperation with foreign partners. The OSA and SAN programs, showcasing the direction of development of Polish capabilities in the area of autonomous systems, will also be among the most important topics.

Premieres and Modern Technologies

MSPO has been a venue for technological premieres for years, and this year’s edition will be no exception. Exhibitors announce presentations of new drone-detection radars, counter-air-threat systems, turbojet engines produced in Poland, advanced soldier communication systems, satellite technologies, special forces solutions, and modern individual equipment. Solutions developed for simultaneous military and civilian use, fitting into the dynamically growing dual-use sector, are also making up an increasingly large part of the exhibition.

Dual-use technologies will be one of the most important topics of this year’s substantive program. Dozens of conferences and debates will include events devoted to innovation financing, science-industry cooperation, the use of artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and the development of the European defense industry. An important point of the program will be a conference dedicated to dual-use technologies, organized in cooperation with the Ministry of Development and Technology and industry partners, as well as meetings under the banner “Świętokrzyskie Networks: Defence & Dual-Use,” aimed at building cooperation between enterprises, scientific units, and the defense sector. Entrepreneurs will also be able to participate in training sessions concerning the rules of cooperation with the US Army stationed in Poland.

Strategic Significance and Industry Growth

For years, the International Defence Industry Exhibition has transcended the formula of a classic trade fair. It is a place where manufacturers, state administration representatives, military command, research institutions, and investors looking for new partnerships and technologies meet. At a time when Europe is intensively developing production capabilities, increasing security expenditures, and launching successive programs supporting industry, the significance of such events is systematically growing.

The expansion of Targi Kielce’s infrastructure is a symbol of this change. Larger exhibition space means not only the opportunity to showcase more companies and technologies, but also demonstrates the scale of the sector’s development and MSPO’s rising position on the map of Europe’s most important defense industry events. This is precisely where strategic decisions, production potential, and technologies that will set the directions for security development and industrial cooperation in the coming years meet today.
