The nationwide ALARM-26 exercises are set for Tuesday, July 21, occurring between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM. Authorities have also designated a backup date for the drills on July 22, during the same hours.
Purpose of the Siren Tests
All audible signals emitted during these hours are strictly for testing purposes to verify the functionality of the national warning system. These sirens do not indicate an actual emergency or threat to the public.
Instructions for Residents
Residents are not required to take any action during the exercises. Officials advise the public to remain calm, as the signals are part of a routine operational check of the infrastructure.
