New Features on mojeIKP: Patients Can Now Book Appointments with 9 Specialists Online

Starting August 1, 2026, patients in Poland can use the Internet Patient Account and mojeIKP app to book initial appointments with nine medical specialists without calling or waiting in queues.

Central e-Registration Expands to New Specialists

Starting in August, central e-registration covers first-time visits with additional medical specialists. These include angiologists or vascular surgeons, infectious disease physicians, endocrinologists, liver disease specialists, immune system disease specialists, nephrologists, neonatologists, and pulmonologists.

Patients will be able to schedule these services online via the Internet Patient Account (IKP) and the mojeIKP mobile application. The Ministry of Health announced that by 2027, the application will eventually allow bookings for up to 40 specialists.

Booking Rules and Transition Period for Medical Facilities

For second and subsequent visits, patients must book directly at the specific healthcare facility. Individuals who do not use digital solutions retain the option to register by phone or in person at the clinic.

Medical facilities have received a six-month period from the date specified in the regulation to adapt their systems to the central e-registration. Consequently, during the transitional period, some services in selected clinics may still be provided under previous rules.

Background on the mojeIKP Application

The e-Health Centre launched the mojeIKP mobile application in May 2021. It allows users to receive notifications about medical appointments, e-prescriptions, and referrals, and can be downloaded from Google Play and the App Store.
