July Bonus Payout Details
The National Police Commander has finalized a decision to award additional funds to personnel. Calculations are based on staffing levels as of June 1, 2026, set at 1,500 PLN per position for officers and 1,200 PLN per position for civilian employees.
The scheduled payout date is July 20, 2026. While these figures serve as the basis for the fund, individual reward amounts will be determined by unit supervisors rather than being uniform for all personnel.
Distribution Authority and Unit Discretion
The bonuses apply to officers serving in both executive and functional capacities. While the funds originate from the National Police Headquarters, individual regional commands, the Metropolitan Police, and police academies retain the authority to issue additional rewards from their own independent budgets.
Union Demands for Structural Reform
Police unions emphasize that these bonuses do not resolve long-standing grievances regarding service conditions and compensation. The NSZZ Policjantów continues to advocate for higher uniform allowances, standardized service supplements, increased compensation for outdoor duty, and 45-year service anniversary bonuses.
Stalled Negotiations on the Uniformed Families Card
Progress on the Uniformed Families Card remains blocked due to a lack of consensus between the Ministry of Interior and Administration and the Ministry of National Defense. Disagreements persist regarding the eligibility criteria for proposed benefits, such as discounted rail travel and passport fee reductions.
