Police Shut Down Illegal Gambling Den in Warsaw Włochy

Officers from the Włochy district police station arrested a 45-year-old man and seized illegal gaming equipment following a targeted operation at an Aleja Krakowska apartment building.

Authorities seized three gambling machines and three touchscreen computers loaded with gaming software during the raid.

Legal Charges and Penalties

The suspect was taken to the police station, where he was formally charged with running illegal gambling operations without the required licenses or permits to gain financial profit. The investigation is currently under the supervision of the Warsaw Ochota District Prosecutor’s Office.

Under Article 107 of the Penal Fiscal Code, organizing or conducting illegal gambling is punishable by a fine of up to 720 daily rates, imprisonment for up to three years, or both.
