Repeat Offender Arrested for Domestic Abuse and Property Theft in Konstancin-Jeziorna

A 43-year-old recidivist from Konstancin-Jeziorna has been placed in a three-month temporary detention after police uncovered multiple property crimes alongside domestic violence charges.

Domestic Abuse Investigation Reveals Further Crimes

The 43-year-old resident of the Konstancin-Jeziorna commune was initially set to answer for domestic violence against his own parents, but meticulous police work uncovered additional offenses. During the investigation, officers established that the suspect was also responsible for crimes in neighboring areas.

Investigators determined that in April of this year, the man broke into a workers’ container in Konstancin-Jeziorna and attempted to steal power tools and construction materials. Furthermore, in May, he stole power tools from a utility room in the village of Jastrzębie within the Piaseczno commune.

Recidivism and Three-Month Detention

The man committed both property crimes under conditions of recidivism, having carried them out within five years of serving at least six months of imprisonment for a similar intentional offense. The accumulated evidence served as the basis for requesting the strictest preventive measure against him.

By decision of the Piaseczno District Court, 2nd Criminal Division, the 43-year-old was placed in temporary detention for a period of three months. The proceedings are conducted under the supervision of the District Prosecutor’s Office in Piaseczno.
