Submerged Vehicle Incident
In the early hours of the morning, a Seat Ibiza lost control and landed in St. Anna’s pond. The vehicle ended up upside down, with only its chassis and wheels visible above the water’s surface.
Emergency Response and Search
Emergency services arrived at the scene to conduct a search of both the vehicle and the pond. Rescuers confirmed that no victims were trapped inside the car or left in the water, as the occupants had likely evacuated the vehicle before authorities arrived.
Police Investigation Underway
Two fire department units assisted in the recovery of the car, which was secured on the bank for transport to a police impound lot. Authorities are currently working to identify the vehicle’s owner and determine the identity of the driver at the time of the crash.
