Second Carriageway of Połczyńska Street Scheduled for Renovation Near Metro Construction Site

Road crews will begin resurfacing the second carriageway of Połczyńska Street on Saturday evening, August 8, forcing drivers to share a single lane in both directions for over a week.

Roadworks and Traffic Changes on Połczyńska Street

Road crews will renovate the second carriageway of Połczyńska Street next to the ongoing metro station construction. During the construction work, drivers will travel on a single lane in both directions, with work beginning on Saturday evening, August 8.

The outbound carriageway from Warsaw has already been resurfaced from Dostawcza Street to the city border. Now it is time for the second lane, where road crews will cooperate with the metro contractor, extending the work slightly longer than a standard milling process to just over a week.

Traffic Organization and Intersection Closures

Traffic changes will take effect starting Saturday, August 8, at approximately 10:00 PM. Drivers will be able to drive on the new asphalt on Monday, August 17, around 4:00 AM.

Intersections with the renovated carriageway will be closed several times during the course of the repairs.
