A 37-year-old driver struck a cyclist and her two young children on Wednesday evening in the Krzywda municipality, resulting in serious injuries for the victims and a major emergency response.

Incident Details
The accident occurred around 7:00 PM on Wednesday, July 15, on the road between Radoryż Kościelny and Huta Dąbrowa. Police reports indicate that a 37-year-old woman driving a Volkswagen collided with a cyclist and her children.
Victims’ Condition
The 30-year-old cyclist and her children, aged approximately three and six, sustained serious injuries. A second 37-year-old cyclist, who was traveling with the group, was not struck by the vehicle and remained unharmed.
Emergency Response
Four fire brigade units, ambulance crews, and three Air Ambulance helicopters from Lublin, Sokołów Podlaski, and Warsaw were dispatched to the scene. The helicopters landed on the blocked road to expedite the transport of the injured to hospitals.
Investigation and Traffic Obstructions
The driver of the Volkswagen and the injured cyclist are both residents of the Krzywda municipality. Authorities have fully blocked the road to conduct an investigation, with traffic disruptions expected to last several hours.
