Today, July 30, at around 3:50 PM, a collision took place between a cyclist and a Toyota van at the intersection of Sokola Street and Zamoście Street. The heavily injured 24-year-old was transported to the hospital, and the exact circumstances of the accident are being established by the police.

Emergency Response and Condition of the Victim

A medical rescue team and police officers were dispatched to the scene. Rescuers provided aid to the injured cyclist and subsequently transported him to the hospital, with the man’s condition described as severe.

Preliminary Account from the Toyota Driver

The initial report regarding the course of the event comes from the 19-year-old driver of the Toyota. According to his words, he was traveling along Sokola Street from the direction of Zamoyskiego Street. In the area of the intersection, the 24-year-old cyclist was reportedly crossing his path from the left side on a red light, at which point the collision occurred.

Sobriety and Qualifications Confirmed

Police officers established that both the van driver and the cyclist were sober. The driver of the Toyota possessed the required licenses.
