Storm Warnings Across Multiple Provinces
First-degree weather alerts are currently in effect for Lubuskie, Ma艂opolskie, Podkarpackie, western Dolno艣l膮skie, southern 艢l膮skie, southern Lubelskie, and western Wielkopolskie provinces. These warnings remain valid until 6:00 AM on Wednesday.
The Institute of Meteorology and Water Management (IMGW) forecasts moderate to heavy rainfall ranging from 20 mm to 35 mm, with wind gusts reaching 60 km/h and potential hail.
Increased Danger in Second-Degree Zones
More severe second-degree warnings have been issued for Wielkopolskie, 艁贸dzkie, 艢wi臋tokrzyskie, Opolskie, eastern Dolno艣l膮skie, and the southern edge of the Mazowieckie province, also valid until Wednesday morning.
In these areas, rainfall is expected to be more intense, reaching 25 mm to 40 mm, with local accumulation up to 55 mm. Wind gusts could climb to 65 km/h alongside hail, posing significant risks to property and public safety.
Government Security Centre Alerts
The Government Security Centre (RCB) has issued alerts for the 艢wi臋tokrzyskie, Opolskie, and parts of the Wielkopolskie, Dolno艣l膮skie, 艢l膮skie, Mazowieckie, and 艁贸dzkie provinces. Authorities warn of potential flooding and power outages, advising the public to avoid open spaces.
Additional alerts were subsequently dispatched to residents in the B臋dzin and Tarnowskie G贸ry counties, as well as the city of D膮browa G贸rnicza, to ensure widespread awareness of the incoming weather hazards.
