Three Hospitalized After Head-On Toyota Collision in Wesoła

Three people were hospitalized following a head-on collision between two Toyotas on Okuniewska Street in Warsaw’s Wesoła district on the morning of June 15 near a busy intersection.

Collision Details

The accident occurred shortly after 8:00 AM on Okuniewska Street, near the ongoing reconstruction of the intersection with 1 Praskiego Pułku Street. Two passenger cars, a Toyota Corolla and a Toyota Prius, were involved in the crash.

Crash Circumstances

Preliminary findings indicate that the driver of the Toyota Corolla crossed into the oncoming lane for unknown reasons, striking the Toyota Prius. The force of the impact caused one vehicle to veer off the road and into a roadside ditch.

Emergency Response and Medical Care

A total of four people were traveling in the vehicles. Firefighters and three emergency medical teams arrived at the scene to provide immediate assistance. After initial treatment, three individuals were transported to the hospital for further evaluation, though the exact nature of their injuries remains unknown.

Police Investigation and Traffic Impact

Officers from the Traffic Department secured the scene to determine the exact circumstances of the collision. Traffic on Okuniewska Street remained blocked until 12:00 PM, with disruptions affecting the area within 500 meters of the construction site.
