Trump Reveals Halts to Strike
Donald Trump stated in a Sunday Truth Social post that the US was ready to attack Iran with military power unseen since World War II. Speaking during a press conference aboard Air Force One, he noted that everything was prepared for a massive strike, but after allies asked to hold off, they decided to wait and see.
Three Nations Intervene
The American president specified that Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and Qatar were the countries that appealed to halt the attack, driven by the chance of reaching an agreement. Trump also mentioned a request from Iran, though Iranian state media denied that Tehran asked the US to cancel the strike, according to PAP.
Conditions for a Deal
Trump assured that Israel will also not attack Iran, provided an agreement is reached. According to the US president, this deal would involve the immediate unblocking of the Strait of Hormuz and the elimination of the Iranian nuclear program.

Asked by a journalist what will happen next, Trump replied that the US will hold negotiations with Iran. He stated they will begin tomorrow afternoon to see if Tehran genuinely wants to reach an agreement, adding that he would like to save numerous lives.

Saudi Warnings on Retaliation
According to Axios, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman urged Trump to ease tensions in the Middle East, warning that an attack could trigger Iranian retaliation targeting oil infrastructure in countries including Saudi Arabia. Trump confirmed these reports aboard Air Force One, stating it was unclear where such attacks would lead and that many bad things could happen.
