Three people were hospitalized following a collision involving two vehicles on Wybrzeże Szczecińskie in Warsaw on July 6, which resulted in the complete closure of the viaduct towards Świętokrzyski Bridge.

The Sequence of the Collision
The accident occurred around 5:40 PM on the road leading from Ratuszowa toward the Świętokrzyski Bridge, near the viaduct over the channel leading to the River Police Station. An Audi carrying five passengers lost control on a curve, struck barriers on both sides of the road, and spun around before colliding with a Peugeot traveling in the same direction.
Emergency Response and Casualties
Six people were involved in total: five in the Audi and the driver of the Peugeot. Three passengers from the Audi were transported to the hospital for medical treatment. The drivers of both vehicles, as well as two other passengers, did not sustain injuries.
Investigation and Traffic Status
Three emergency medical teams, police, and firefighters responded to the scene to secure the area and provide assistance. Authorities confirmed that both drivers were sober and held valid licenses. Police are currently investigating the exact circumstances surrounding the incident, which led to the temporary blockage of the viaduct.
