According to preliminary police findings, a 41-year-old riding a Honda failed to adjust his speed to road conditions while navigating a curve, leading to a loss of control. The motorcycle hit guardrails and rebounded onto the road.

The second rider, operating a Benelli, failed to maintain a safe following distance and could not react in time. He subsequently lost control of his vehicle, causing his motorcycle to strike a nearby fence.
