Zajączkowska-Hernik Officially Launches New Association

During a Wednesday press conference in Warsaw, MEP Ewa Zajączkowska-Hernik officially announced the establishment of the “Ruch Biało-Czerwoni” (White-Red Movement) association, outlining its focus on national identity and pragmatic governance.

Vision and Membership of the New Movement

Zajączkowska-Hernik stated that the association aims to build a strong national spirit, gathering entrepreneurs, advisors, managers, local officials, and lawyers. The group seeks to unite individuals committed to defining national interests through pride, strength, and pragmatic security.

Encouraging public participation, the MEP described the movement as a civic platform for those tired of current state mismanagement and the disregard for Polish interests. She noted that over 4,000 supporters from her “Ewa’s Teams” have already expressed interest in joining the association, which was officially registered on June 3.

Internal Tensions Within Confederation

Addressing her political future, Zajączkowska-Hernik reaffirmed her alignment with the Confederation party. However, her relationship with the party remains strained following her decision to join the “Patriots for Europe” group in the European Parliament without prior consultation.

While some Confederation members, such as Krzysztof Tuduj, welcome the initiative, others view it as a competitor. Confederation spokesperson Wojciech Machulski asserted that the MEP excluded herself from the Nowa Nadzieja party. Zajączkowska-Hernik has contested this claim, stating that legal analysis confirms she was removed from the party membership list rather than having “self-excluded.”
