A nationwide outage has affected Play’s network. Since early afternoon on Monday, 3 November, users from multiple regions, including Warsaw, have reported problems with coverage, call connectivity, and internet access. Play has confirmed it is working to restore full service.
Reporting Surge
Problems began appearing around 15:20–15:30. Within hours, the number of reports climbed from over 5,500 to more than 6,800 by 16:13. Users primarily cited issues with cellular coverage and fixed‑line internet, with fewer complaints about mobile data.
Impact in Major Cities
Large cities such as Krakow, Wroclaw, Poznan, Katowice, Lodz, and Gdansk experienced a high volume of complaints. In Warsaw, some subscribers reported an inability to make voice calls and disruptions in data access.
Operator’s Statement
Play issued a brief statement: “We are aware of the situation and are working to restore full service as quickly as possible. Please be patient.” No cause or estimated repair time was provided at the time of release.
