The consulate has retained contact with the travelers, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reports no information indicating any damage or injury among Polish residents.

Polish Diplomats Monitor Situation on Cuba

When Hurricane Melissa reached Cuba on Wednesday morning, Polish diplomatic services noted that 19 citizens were in the affected region according to the Odysseus system.

Consular staff remain in continual contact with the nationals and have received no requests for assistance. Travel agencies have confirmed the cancellation of tours to the area this week.
