Police Officer Charged with Rape of Colleague

A Warsaw police commander has been charged with raping a subordinate officer in Piaseczno on January 3, 2026.

Police Officer Dismissed

The commander of the 9th Company of the Warsaw Prevention Police was dismissed on January 9, 2026, by order of the metropolitan police commander. The officer had 20 years of service. Controls continue in his unit, including increased management oversight by the OPP regarding sobriety checks, according to Deputy Commissioner Wiśniewski.

Rape of Police Officer

The incident occurred on January 3, 2026, at approximately 3:30 AM in the Piaseczno unit. Marcin J. summoned a female officer to his office and subsequently raped her. The victim filed a report at 5:30 AM, as reported by the Minister of the Interior and Administration. Immediate police actions were initiated before the formal report.

Commander Arrested

Following the victim’s report, Marcin J. was detained by BSWP officers and placed in custody for the prosecutor. A disciplinary proceeding was initiated, and he was suspended from duty. The same day, the Metropolitan Police Commander initiated administrative proceedings to dismiss him. Marcin J. was remanded in custody for three months and charged with raping the officer and forcing her to perform another sexual act.
