Incident Details

On the night of 12 December, a police patrol from the Śrem County Police Command was on an intervention in Tworzykowo, Brodnica, Greater Poland, when the officer noticed a hand protruding from a roadside ditch in an unbuilt area.

The hand belonged to an 18‑year‑old motorcyclist who had ridden too fast in dense fog, veered off the road and hit a tree.

Police Response

Police officers immediately called for an ambulance. While waiting for the ambulance, the officers kept the man in the rescue vehicle because he was cold and could not walk due to a damaged phone.

A police officer named Ewa Kasińska described the scene, stating that without the officers’ vigilance the young man might have gone unnoticed by other drivers.

When the ambulance arrived, the teenager was taken to the hospital with bodily injuries, and the motorcycle was secured for transport.

Teen Injured

The 18‑year‑old was admitted to the hospital with injuries. His father was also present at the scene and the police helped secure the bike during transport.

The alert covers the Podlaskie, Masovian, Lubusz, Łódź, Świętokrzyskie, and Małopolskie provinces.
