Łukasz Litewka was born on May 9, 1989, in Sosnowiec and graduated from the University of Silesia with a degree in sociology.

He began his political career in 2014 as a councilor in Sosnowiec, and was re-elected in 2018.

In 2023, he was elected to the Sejm, securing the highest number of votes on the Left’s list, surpassing even the party leader, Włodzimierz Czarzasty.

Litewka was considered a potential candidate for the Left in the 2025 presidential elections, as confirmed by a party official.
