Polish Railway Guard Offers Up to 20,000 PLN Monthly for Specialist Positions

Polish Railway Protection Guard is recruiting nationwide with competitive salaries for technical experts and patrol officers.

Specialist Salaries Reach Record Highs

The Polish Railway Protection Guard (SOK) is recruiting across Poland, particularly for experts in technical fields. Specialist and managerial positions offer the most impressive salaries, with the head of technical analysis earning 17-20,000 PLN gross. A BIM coordinator at headquarters can earn 11,000-15,500 PLN gross, competing with private sector offers.

SOK is also seeking engineers and supervisors, reflecting a transformation in the organization’s profile. In Silesia, automation diagnostics inspectors earn up to 10,000 PLN gross, similar to investment supervision inspectors. BHP inspectors earn up to 9,000 PLN gross, still above the national average.

Mass Patrol Recruitment with Attractive Benefits

Despite attention on specialists, SOK primarily conducts mass recruitment for patrol service, planning to increase officers to over 3,000. Entry-level patrol officers receive 5,000-6,500 PLN gross base salary, but with allowances and benefits, the average reaches nearly 8,000 PLN gross.

Requirements for Applicants

Access to SOK requires meeting specific criteria: minimum 21 years old, Polish citizenship, completed military service obligations, and impeccable reputation (no criminal record for intentional crimes). After document verification and interview, a medical commission evaluates physical and mental fitness for service in an armed formation.

Modernization of Railway Security

Today’s Polish Railway Protection Guard is breaking away from its traditional “station protection” image. It cooperates with international organization RAILPOL, investing in IT systems and specialized vehicles. The intensive recruitment and high salaries suggest ongoing technological and personnel transformation.
