Government faces a red card
The survey of 1,057 Polish adults shows a significant majority expressing negative sentiment toward the administration of Donald Tusk since the start of his term.
Political analyst warns of danger
Political scientist Dr. Bartłomiej Machnik stated in Super Express that this result serves as a “red card” for the government. He noted that with little more than a year until the next election, these findings signal a serious threat that should cause the cabinet concern.
Comparative data on government approval
An earlier survey by the National Research Group conducted between April 28 and May 11 showed a 30.1 percent approval rating for the government, with 45.8 percent expressing disapproval and 24.1 percent remaining neutral.
Parliament and President performance ratings
CBOS data from May 25 indicates that the Sejm holds a 33 percent approval rating against 49 percent disapproval. The Senate saw 37 percent approval and 38 percent disapproval, while the President maintained 46 percent approval compared to 42 percent disapproval.
Trends in institutional ratings
CBOS summarized that while parliamentary ratings, particularly those of the Sejm, saw a slight decline from April to May, the approval ratings for the President remained largely stable.
