Incident Report
At 13:24 on 4 December, the State Fire Service received a call about a house fire at an apartment building on Drzymała Street, Pruszków.
Firefighting Operations
Four fire units, police, an ambulance, and gas and electric teams arrived. Firefighters found the fire on the building’s second floor, involving several rooms and producing smoke from windows.
They immediately began extinguishing the blaze, carried out interior rescue actions, and secured the perimeter.
Evacuation
Three people, including a disabled resident, were safely evacuated. Ladder rescue equipment was positioned under balconies for potential higher‑floor evacuation, though it was not needed.
Post‑Fire Actions
Firefighters isolated and controlled the fire, then conducted de‑smoking operations with specialized gear, clearing stairwells and apartments of smoke and enabling further safe work.
At the scene, teams inspected the building’s gas and electrical installations for damage.
Investigation
Police are conducting a preliminary investigation. No causes have yet been identified, and the State Fire Service reports no injuries.
