Radom and Lublin Airports Temporarily Closed
On Thursday morning, 30 October, the Polish Aviation Agency issued a notice concerning the Radom and Lublin airports.
“Because of the need to ensure freedom of operation for military aviation, the Radom and Lublin airports were closed for the duration of the operations,” the agency said. The notice did not specify how long the closures would last.
Polish Forces Deploy Fighters
After 5 a.m., the Operational Command of the Armed Forces announced that Polish and allied aircraft had begun operating in the airspace. This activity is linked to the ongoing massive Russian attack on Ukraine.
