Russian Drone Strikes Turkish LPG Tanker

A 2002‑built tanker carrying 4,000 tons of LPG was hit by a Russian drone near the port of Izmail. Video footage shows a column of flame issuing from the vessel, while 16 crew members were safely evacuated.

Romania Orders Evacuation of Plauru and Ceatalchioi

Romanian crisis staff directed the evacuation of the towns of Plauru and Ceatalchioi, which are only about 500 metres from the tanker on the Romanian side. Reports describe a dramatic scene of fear and thick smoke, and Ukrainian authorities have also ordered evacuation of the area.
