International investor Sebastian Kulczyk advocates for digital sovereignty and local patriotism to help Europe and Poland compete in the global technology race.
The Importance of Digital Sovereignty
International investor Sebastian Kulczyk, engaged in the development of the new technology sector, points out that several large corporations that today impose a certain narrative in the digital world will shape what happens in both business and social life. Therefore, it is worth talking about digital sovereignty and even local patriotism.
Potential for European Tech Growth
According to Kulczyk, Europe and Poland still have time to fight for a position in the global technology race. He highlights that Poland has many wonderful companies with potential, but needs more capital for development and appropriate legislation to enable them to compete.
Regulatory Challenges
Kulczyk adds that it is difficult to compete with competitors who are not subject to similar regulations. He questions how to regulate and create conditions for entrepreneurs, particularly in artificial intelligence, so they can compete with American or Chinese companies.
