The incident occurred today, May 20, shortly before 5:00 PM at the busy junction of Powstańców Śląskich, Połczyńska, and Dźwigowa. A motorcycle operated by a food courier collided with a vehicle belonging to the Railway Security Guard (SOK).

Initial findings suggest the delivery rider was traveling along Połczyńska Street from the city center toward Ożarów Mazowiecki. The SOK vehicle, operating with emergency lights and sirens, was moving from Dźwigowa Street toward Powstańców Śląskich and entered the intersection against a red light.

Preliminary reports indicate that vehicles in two lanes on Połczyńska Street stopped to yield to the emergency vehicle. However, the motorcyclist continued in the third lane, leading to a collision with the SOK vehicle.
