Drivers reported crashes on both main traffic lanes and junction connectors. In some cases motorists filled out statements, while emergency services intervened in others. Several collisions involved multiple vehicles, worsening movement around the junction.

Official notice on S2 segment
In the course of the day the GDDKiA informational service posted a warning of a delay on the S2 stretch between Konotopa and Opacz junctions, caused by a vehicle collision and lane blockage. The incident was logged from 12:50 to 15:10.
Frosty weather adds risk
Cold drizzle prevailed in Warsaw, and the IMGW issued a first‑level warning for freezing precipitation that can create ice, effective until 22:00.
