Tragedy in Ursus: Child Dies After Choking on Gummies

On Monday, Oct 3, a seven‑year‑old boy in Ursus, Warsaw, died after choking on gummy candies and experiencing cardiac arrest.

Emergency Response

Two medical teams arrived within minutes of the incident, starting resuscitation that lasted more than an hour. Despite aggressive efforts, the child could not be revived.

Police Investigation

Police, operating under the supervision of the prosecutor, are carrying out procedural actions at the scene. Preliminary indications point to an accidental choking as the cause.

Medical Findings

The attending doctor declared the child deceased after an hour of reanimation had failed. No other causes were identified.
