A DAF truck carrying technical plates lost control on Poland’s national route 7 near Cempkowo, collided with concrete barriers, blocking both lanes and causing hours of traffic disruptions.
Truck carrying technical plates crashes into barriers
A 69‑year‑old driver of a DAF truck, travelling toward Gdańsk, experienced a tyre blow‑out near Cempkowo in Płońsk County. The loss of control caused the vehicle to hit concrete barriers that separate the lanes.
The truck veered onto the opposite lane heading toward Warsaw, striking energy‑absorbing barriers and causing further damage to the road structure.
Road block causes traffic delays
Both lanes of the S7 were completely blocked. Police will soon clear the lane bound for Gdańsk, while traffic toward Warsaw is being rerouted along a service road.
Emergency response and traffic management
The driver and accompanying personnel are receiving assistance on site. Police are requesting drivers to exercise caution, obey traffic officers, and remain patient until the route is fully cleared.
Other vehicle damage
A passenger car involved in the incident suffered damage as well.
